Overview Station:
Airlock: Important for Story Missions. Here you can set your Home Station.
Personal Hangar: Lets you modify and check on your owned Ships.
Mission Board: Depending on the Faction they offer you different Types of Missions.
Workshop: Here you can refine Items, level them up, change their Stats, reroll them etc.
Bar: In the Bar you can meet interesting People.
Shipyard: Here you can buy ships. Depending on the Faction and Level you will see different offerings.
Forge: Lets you craft unlocked Crafting Recipes for various Items. Forging costs Materials and Credits. Check Gear and Looting on how to unlock Items. The Materials needed for crafts will rise with the Item Level.
Refinery: Here you can refine mined Minerals or found Items into Materials needed for the Forge. Refining costs Credits. Crafting/Refining goes on when not docked.
Shop: (General/Salvage/Mining etc.) Buys and Sells Items. Depending on the Type of Shop it offers different Items, Refreshes after 1 Hour.
Boards: Lets you do various Tasks, fight Waves of Enemies, supply a Station with Resources, pays well when done right. The further you advance, the better the rewards but also gets harder. Can't be idled. Shop item Level Scales with the Level of your Bounty/Patrol Rank. When answering a distress call, docking at a Station mid-battle or moving away from the place the Tasks is happening the Task will be cancelled!
Trade Terminal: Needed for Missions. You can also trade between Trade Terminals. Can't be done automatically by ECHO.
Home station: Your Home Station will be marked on the Map with a blue "Shield" Icon.

Missions:
There are different Types of Missions for all professions found in the Galaxy. Different Stations and Factions will offer you different Missions. Missions will reward you with Credits, Reputation and sometimes Gear. You also can get a Fuel Cell as reward. The rewards are always shown in the Mission Tab.
Stations reset the currently shown Missions after 5 Minutes.
There is no penalty when abandoning a Mission.
You can accept up to 8 Missions at once.
Missions accepted by Hand aren't affected by the "Autopilot Penalty"
