There is no penalty when abandoning a Mission.
You can accept up to 8 Missions at once.
Missions accepted by Hand aren't affected by the "Autopilot Penalty"
Workshop:

With the Workshop you can modify Equipment pieces. The Workshop is a bit difficult to capture in one picture.
You can modify Sub-Stats for the cost of credits, rerolling increases the credits needed each time. The rolls are random.
It's also possible to extract Blueprints for rarities you don't have in your collection. This also costs credits. [LIMITED CURRENTLY UP TO BLUE RARITY]
Removing the Aspect of an Item destroys it, keep this in mind. To add 1 or more Aspects the Items need to have already 1 or 2 Slots.
Levelling Items up is currently your Level +6 as the maximum, if it is above (currently 37 and above) you can't Level it up any further. Costs credits.
Patrol / Bounty / Industry Ops:

The "Ops" have 3 difficulties. Normal, Hard and Extreme. Extreme grants you a Level up for the given Ops.
Patrol: Fight 4 Waves of Enemies, rewards you with Credits, Standing and Commendations for the Contractor.
Bounty: Hunt known Criminals. 3 Waves of Enemies, rewards you with Credits, Standing and Commendations for the Contractor.
Industry: Here you support a Defence Station with resources. Goal is to craft "supplies" for the Station.
The Commendations farmed from each Op is needed for the Shop. With increasing Level the Items get stronger but also cost more Commendation.
Retiring the rank doesn't lower the highest Item level unlocked.

Personal Hangar:

The Personal Hangar lets you change and modify Ships.
You can right-click on Hard points or Modules to remove them. When a Ship is equipped with drones you can change the Drone layout on the left side with the small Drone Icon. The Repair button lets you repair ships quicker than usually for the Cost of Credits.
