Malcyte is an unknown faction.
Bond of Flesh and Darkness?
Next to nothing is known of the Malcyte, other than they embraced (and were corrupted?) by Metafiber (?), and have accepted it fully, unlike Meridia's Chosen who presumably only embraced (?) it partially (?), but both were corrupted (?). (By what exactly?)
While Midas will claim Malcyte are Meridia's "overlords", he is hardly an objective observer and there is (yet) no in-game evidence of this.
Their ships carry names such as Mesh, Splice, Weldflesh, Chimeric, Glitchflesh, Bioforge and so on, indicating a fusion of flesh and metal.
Ships Manufactured
Malcyte are also a manufacturer of their own ships.
So far only a handful of ships have been sighted, exclusively combat oriented.
Malcyte ship names imply a runoff cybernetic fusion of people (or, flesh itself?) and ships.
Their ships cannot be bought or obtained at the moment.
