What is a Boss Trap?

With Boss Traps powerful Boss Enemies can be called in the System you are currently in. The POI will be shown with a red mark on the map in the system.

How to acquire and what are Signal fragments?

Traps can be crafted at every Forge. To craft a Trap you need special items called Signal fragments."These fragments can be farmed through combat and salvaging.

When crafted, signal traps will be stored in the armory. To activate a signal trap, just right click it.

First 3 trap blueprints are a from a quest Corsair Trap I, Meridia Trap I, Meridia Trap II.

Boss Cores

Boss Cores are needed to craft the Signal Trap.

Currently there is the Standard Boss Core; with this core you can craft signal traps with a level +5 above yours. This means the Boss is always 5 levels above your current level.

Boss loot drops

When defeated, the Boss will drop the following in random quantities:

Luminate Trap I blueprint, Strange Dust ,Hull Upgrade Kit, Exotic Booster, Special Boss Aspects

The special Boss Aspects are located on the Items, don't throw them away!
