Modules are the components that make a ship able to move, protect itself, and operate. Ships are nothing but platforms for modules - it's the modules that define how efficient or powerful a ship is.

| Armor Plating | Modifies the ship's armor score (form all sources, including item substats) with an armor modifier. Exclusive with Shield Generator. | |
| Drone Bay | Holds 3, 6 or 9 Drones, extendable through Aspects and Skills. See Drones. Exclusive with Torpedo Bay. | |
| Engine | Provides thrust, allowing a ship to move. | |
| Hull Kit | Modifies the ship's base Hull Point score (form all sources, including item substats) with an HP modifier. | |
| Reactor | Provides energy, allowing all other modules and Turrets to operate. See Energy. | |
| Scanner | Generates Precision, required for critical hits. | |
| Shield Generator | Modifies the ship's Shield score (form all sources, including item substats) with an Shield modifier. Exclusive with Armor Plating. | |
| Torpedo Bay | Launches torpedoes. | |
| Tractor Beam | Grabs items in space, tows them into the Cargo Bay. |
