The Drydock

With the Drydock you can refit and upgrade ships. The Drydock can be found at most Stations.

Captured Ships

When capturing Ships those ships will be brought back by your Crew to the Drydocks. There you can start repairing it if you want or dismantle the Ships for parts. The resources needed will be shown in the Pop-up screen.

Dismantling, repairing and selling

Upon arrival at the Drydock you can repair, dismantle, or straight-up sell the damaged Hull. Keep in mind that selling it in this state will add a "condition penalty."

Each Option will show what you can expect from it.

Refit

Ship refit lets you increase the number of hull upgrade slots of your ships.

These are essential to get the maximum out of your hull upgrades.

The refit requires a hull alignment progress, which will be shown in the middle. After gathering the needed XP you also need Ship Type Upgrade Kits. Depending on the current ship type, these vary between 1, 10 or even more.
