Corsair Syndicate are a minor faction.
Corsair Hierarchy
Corsair Syndicate are an organized force of pirates, cutthroats, reavers and thieves that feed of the "civilized" factions, stealing supplies, ores, ships and more. They are the primary antagonist the player will meet all the way up to Conquest sector.
Alliances can shift, and at that point corsairs can be befriended, and helped break into conquest and establish themselves as a major, if chaotic, force.
In the Conquest Sector they have no leader, but Horace the Red (not so named after his hair color) will ask the player to lead the greatest raid of all time.
