Omnitac Agency are a pacifier faction.
Mercenary Service
Omnitac Agency serves to help out with their trusty mercenary force, for the right price. Their stations offer mercenary services - be it combat, mining or salvaging, at reasonable rates. As such, the Agency isn't interested in Conquest expansion and will not participate.
Omnitac Agency Characters
Mercenary Guild
Formerly known as the Recruitment Center.
Mercenaries can be hired from the Agency on an hourly basis, and their contracts can be extended indefinitely. If the mercenary is severely damaged, they will disengage from current activity, go to a nearby station to repair, and then rejoin the player once done. Mercenaries will follow the player through gates normally.
All mercenaries can be dismissed before their contract ends naturally, and they can also be controlled through custom stances:
- Formation - the ship will follow the player in a tight formation
- Defensive - ship will try to attack the most dangerous enemy
- Aggressive - ship can free-roam, mine/salvage or fight at will
In most scenarios, Aggressive is the regular choice to pick as other formation types can prevent the mercenary from salvaging or mining.
Ships Manufactured
Omnitac Agency has no ship supplier, and will thus sell low to mid-range Frontier and Utixon Corp ships.
