Locked containers are a type of consumable that can be received though various activities - combat, salvage or mining.
Opening Locked containers
Locked containers can be opened at any Steel Vultures station by right clicking them when the Shop interface is closed. Doing so can result in a variety of goodies:
- Credits
- Ores
- Refined materials
- Modules
- Turrets
- Bonus Skillpoints (very low chance)
- Locked Containers
Opening Locked containers costs a nominal fee, tied to the container level, but can be waived if one also has a Key for opening Locked containers:
Locked Containers can be opened en-masse, and all the proceeds will go to ship cargo.
Gaining Locked Containers through skills
Certain skills boost the chances of generating Locked Containers:
- Smugglers Stash: Mining - triggers container spawn when mining.
- LB-RTR Bot: Salvaging - actively return containers form wrecks
